Naming pendulums is a difficult matter. Sheree and I were looking at this one and we both thought of the Arthurian legend: Merlin and a certain sword stuck in a stone. There's amazing detail on the stone...and very ornate work where the bottom of the stone meets the chain. (Click on the picture for a closer look.) This is all done by hand and it takes a LONG time.
So Sheree was thinking "Lady of the Lake" for a name. But there's no sword...and no water. So I thought "Avalon." We flipped for it and I won. So this is "Camelot."
The break is a glittering silver bead and it all leads down to a lead crystal multifaceted chandelier drop. It originally had brass fittings. The hand-wiring around the blue stone is German silver wire. A lot of time has been lavished on this pendulum and the results are simply spectacular. This thing was made for tarot card divination and period based routines. It's elegant and very responsive.
